Chandigarh, January 23
One more person succumbed to coronavirus in UT on Saturday while the city reported 22 new cases of the pandemic in 24 hours. There are now 127 active cases of the infection.
The death toll stands at 333 while the total number of people found positive has climbed to 20,686.
According to a media bulletin, a 73 year old COVID positive female R/o Sector 23, a case of Chronic Kidney Disease, Hypertension, and Diabetes Mellitus, has expired at GMCH 32.
New coronavirus have been reported from different parts of the city and the villages surrounding it.
Meanwhile, a total of 31 patients have been discharged including persons from home isolation who have completed 10 days and are asymptomatic, as per MoHFW guidelines.
