Chandigarh, December 25
UT recorded 36 new cases of coronavirus during the past 24 hours, taking the total caseload to 19,345. There are as many as 345 active cases of the infection.
So far, 314 persons have lost their lives due to the pandemic in the city.
According to a medical bulletin issued here on Friday, most o the cases have been reported from different parts of the city and the villages surrounding it.
Meanwhile, a total of 52 patients have been discharged including persons from home isolation who have completed 10 days and are asymptomatic, as per MoHFW guidelines.
