Chandigarh, March 15
UT recorded 148 fresh cases of coronavirus on Monday as the surge in infection continued in different parts of the city. There are now 1,166 active cases of the pandemic in the city.
The caseload in Chandigarh has now risen to 23,244.
According to a media bulletin issued here on Monday by the Administration the new cases of the pandemic have been reported from different parts of the city and the villages surrounding it.
Meanwhile, a total of 70 patients have been discharged including persons from home isolation who have completed 10 days and are asymptomatic, as per MoHFW guidelines.
