With UT reporting as many as 80 fresh cases on Monday—the highest ever single day spike in coronavirus cases, the tally has reached 16, 246. The figure includes 565 active cases.
The new cases have been reported from different sectors of the city and the villages surrounding it.
Meanwhile, 100 patients have been cured and discharged from different hospitals during the past 24 hours
