Chandigarh Police arrested two person’s

On 04.08.2020 a case FIR No. 165 U/S 332,353,427,34 IPC PS Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh was registered on the complaint of L/C Poonam 6068/IRB reported that on 4.8.20 she was deputed as in-charge in PCR vehicle CH-01-GA-6674 along with driver Vol. Ashok Kumar 465/CHG from 01.00 PM to 8.00 PM. At about 1.40 PM during patrolling, when they reached near Charan Singh Colony School, in the meantime two unknown boys came and throw a brick on their PCR vehicle and fled away towards Rajiv Colony side, due to which the left side window glass was broken of the PCR vehicle. Thereafter, Vol. Ashok Kumar 465/CP driver of PCR vehicle chased them but! they could not be caught.
During the course of investigation, a special team consists i.e. 1 NGO, 2 ORs under the close supervision of SHO PS-MJ. On 05.08.2020, the police party achieved the success by arresting two person’s i.e. one Juvenile and other accused Akash @ Sumit S/o Sh. Ramphal R/o # 8/1 Rajiv Colony Sector-17 Panchkula Hr age-22 yrs has been arrested in above mentioned case. Today i.e. 5.08.2020 Juvenile is being produced before Juvenile Justice Board and other accused Akash will be produced tomorrow before the Hon’ble Court.
