Chandigarh, October 21
The Union Territory of Chandigarh recorded no new fatality due to coronavirus on Wednesday. However, the city reported 54 fresh cases of infection during the past 24 hours. The caseload has increased to 13, 795 which include 744 active cases.
According to a medical bulletin, the new cases have been reported from different parts of the city and the villages surrounding it.
Meanwhile, a total of 118 patients have been discharged including persons from home isolation who have completed 10 days and are asymptomatic, as per MoHFW guidelines.
