Chandigarh, August 4, 2020: One death and 46 new cases were reported from Chandigarh on Tuesday.
A 50 year old female resident of Burail who was a known case of severe rheumatic heart disease expired in trauma unit of PGI yesterday.
She was sampled on August 2 and diagnosed as COVID 19 positive. She had a history of fall after giddiness yesterday and went to PGI trauma center where she was found to be having subdural hemorrhage on MRI. Patient’s condition deteriorated further and she suffered a sudden cardiac arrest and could not be revived.
