Chandigarh, July 28
Coronavirus cases in UT are racing towards the 1,000-mark with the city reporting 24 cases during the past 24 hours.
With this, the number of infection cases in the city has climbed to 934 including as many as 321 active cases.
The new cases have been reported from Sectors 15, 22, 23, 32, 40, 46, 48, 51, 61, Sarangpur, Hallo Majra, Mauli Jagran, Khuda Lahora and Dhanas.
Meanwhile, 24 patients have been cured and discharged from hospitals.
