Chandigarh recorded 11 more deaths and 890 new cases of coronavirus on Monday.
The city now has 7943 active cases of infection.
The death toll in the city has now risen to 507 while the total caseload has increased to 45,196.
Meanwhile, a total of 528 patients have been discharged including persons from home isolation who have completed 10 days and are asymptomatic, as per MoHFW guidelines.
