Chandigarh, May 9
UT recorded ten more deaths and as many as 895 fresh cases of coronavirus on Sunday. With this, the death toll in the city has climbed to 568 while the caseload stands at 50207. There are now 8511 active cases of the infection.
According to a media bulletin issued here, 10 new victims of the pandemic were the in the age group of 30 and 99 years. The new cases of coronavirus have been reported from different parts of the city and the villages surrounding it.
Meanwhile, a total of 879 patients have been discharged including persons from home isolation who have completed 10 days and are asymptomatic, as per MoHFW guidelines.
