The Chief Electoral Officer, Punjab, Mrs. Anindita Mitra has congratulated the election machinery of Balachaur Assembly Constituency, District Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar for achieving 100% digitisation of Enumeration Forms during the ongoing House-to-House Enumeration phase of Special Intensive Revision-2026 way before the set timelines.
Lauding the team effort of the District Election Officer, ERO, AEROs and BLOs, Ms. Mitra said this milestone reflects dedication and mission-mode working.
She stated that the success of Balachaur will serve as a model for other constituencies in the State and expressed confidence that all districts will complete digitisation within the prescribed timelines.
She also urged the voters of punjab who are yet to deposit the enumeration forms with their Booth level officers to do that expeditiously in order to get their names in the draft electoral rolls.
