Resolves most of grievances on the spot: Dr. Baljit Kaur
Chandigarh, June 7:
Punjab Social Security, Women and Child Development Minister Dr. Baljit Kaur listened to the problems of the people of Ward No. 2 of Malout city under the program “Sarkar Tuhade Dwaar”. On this occasion, the residents of Malout informed the minister about their various problems.
Taking the problems of the people seriously, the Minister solved most of them on the spot. Apart from this, the officials of the department were asked to take quick action by issuing necessary guidelines to solve the remaining problems.
Giving more information in this regard, the minister said that efforts are being made by the Punjab Government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann to develop Malout city. Under this, basic facilities like clean drinking water, sewerage system and clean environment are being provided to the people. Mentioning the development works of Malout city, the minister said that adequate arrangements are being made for the drainage of rainwater in Malout city so that water will not enter people’s houses during the rains.
Speaking about the scarcity of drinking water in the city, the minister said that in Ward no. 2. there is a huge problem of water and sewerage which has been a cause of trouble for the residents of the city for some time now and the Punjab Government is committed to solving this problem on a priority basis. She assured the people of Malout to solve the problems in time.
