Cabinet minister Vijay Inder Singla distributes pension letters to 167 beneficiaries and FDs of Rs 51,000 to 3 girls
Bhawanigarh /Sangrur, July 28:
Punjab school education and Public Works Minister Mr. Vijay Inder Singla said that it was his personal responsibility to provide the benefit of welfare schemes to every needy person in Sangrur constituency in a transparent manner and no eligible beneficiary will be deprived of the benefits of welfare schemes of the government. Mr. Vijay Inder Singla who is also MLA from Sangrur constituency was here to distribute pension sanction letters to 167 beneficiaries at Municipal Council Bhawanigarh. On the occasion, the Cabinet Minister also handed letters of approval for the fixed deposits of Rs. 51-51 thousand made by the Labor Department in the name of three girls.
Speaking on the occasion Mr. Vijay Inder Singla said that the development works were being carried out as per the demand of the people of the constituency and he himself was checking the quality of these works from time to time. He said that apart from repairing all the old roads, new roads have been constructed in every area of Sangrur which was helping in making the access to facilities easier for the people. He said that apart from this every school, health center, pond and streets and drains of every village have also been improved so that a better living environment could be provided to the villagers.
Mr. Singla said that the Congress government has worked hard to improve the condition of every facility in the state and under this potable drinking water was being provided to all the villages of Sangrur constituency through 58 water supply schemes.
On this occasion EO Bhawanigarh Parvinder Singh Bhatti, Chairman Block Samiti Bhawanigarh Virender Panwa, Chairman Market Committee Pardeep Kad, all Congress MCs, representatives of various village panchayats and Congress workers were also present.
