Ludhiana – A grand road show took place today in support of Aam Aadmi Party’s Ludhiana Lok Sabha candidate Ashok Parashar Pappi in both the western and eastern regions. The road show in the East constituency commenced from Dana Mandi Bahadur, guided by constituency MLA and Chairman of the Campaign Committee, Daljit Singh Bhola Grewal. Accompanied by Ashok Parashar Pappi’s son, Vikas Parashar Kaku, the procession traversed through various wards, including Noorwala Road, Kakowal Road, Raho Road, and Tower Line, concluding at Tibba Road, Tajpur Road, and Chandigarh Road Galada Ground.
Simultaneously, the road show for Ludhiana Lok Sabha candidate Ashok Parashar Pappi in the West constituency, led by constituency MLA Gurpreet Gogi, kicked off from Jawahar Camp and concluded at the Main Election Office in Rajguru Nagar after passing through Kochar Market, Bharat Nagar Chowk, Gurdev Nagar, Sarabha Nagar, and Bhai Randhir Singh Nagar.
Addressing the crowd during the road show, Ashok Parashar Pappi expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support, indicating that the strong turnout reflected the community’s preference for a local and accessible candidate. He emphasized the importance of selecting leaders connected to the region to drive Ludhiana’s progress, aiming to avoid past mistakes. Pappi urged the constituents to press the broom button on June 1 to elect him to Parliament and bolster Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s leadership.
MLA Daljit Singh Bhola Grewal highlighted that by voting for the broom symbol, Ludhiana residents actively endorse Ashok Parashar Pappi’s campaign and Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann’s Mission 13-0.
MLA Gurpreet Gogi confidently predicted Aam Aadmi Party’s victory in the Ludhiana Lok Sabha seat by a margin exceeding 100,000 votes. He anticipated a stronger performance in the West region than in the Assembly elections. He also suggested that the opponents would be unsettled by the successful road show in the West Assembly constituency.
During the event, President and Secretary Amandeep Singh Mohi, Lok Sabha in-charge Dr. Deepak Bansal, District President Sharanpal Singh Makkar, Dupinder Singh, Master Hari Singh, Shekhar Grover, Inderjit Kaur, Varsha Rampal, Balveer Chaudhary, along with hundreds of volunteers and officials, were in attendance. Kala Ghuman and Navdeep Navi were also present.
