Chandigarh, September 28:
After the allocation of the portfolio of Revenue, Rehabilitation and Disaster Management department, Cabinet Minister Mrs. Aruna Chaudhary, on Tuesday, assumed the charge of the office at 6th floor at Punjab Civil Secretariat-1 in the presence of Chief Minister S. Charanjit Singh Channi and Deputy Chief Minister Mr. O.P. Soni.
Mrs. Chaudhary, while expressing gratitude to the party high command and the Chief Minister for reposing faith in her, affirmed that she would continue to serve the people of the state and discharge all her responsibilities with dedication and diligence, reiterating that the state government would always be available for serving the people of all the sections of the society and would also strive to bring good governance to their doorsteps.
She categorically asserted, “The government was committed to fulfilling every promise made in its election manifesto and she would continue to work tirelessly as was doing earlier.
Among others present on the occasion included Member of Parliament Mr. Jasbir Singh Dimpa, Mr. Harjot Kamal and Mr. Davinder Singh Ghubaya (both MLAs) besides family members included her husband Mr. Ashok Chaudhary Senior Congress leader, son Mr. Abhinav Chaudhary and supporters as well as well wishers.
