Chandigarh, November 4
UT logged one more death and 86 new cases of coronavirus during the past 24 hours. The death toll now stands at 228 while caseload has risen to 14, 608. There are many as 629 active cases of the pandemic.
According to a medical bulletin release here by the administration, a 56 year old male R/o Maniamajra, a case of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus and Hypertension, who tested COIVD positive, expired at Indus International Hospital, Derabassi, Punjab.
The new cases of coronavirtus have been reported from different parts of the city and the villages surrounding it.
Meanwhile, a total of 43 patients have been discharged including persons from home isolation who have completed 10 days and are asymptomatic, as per MoHFW guidelines.
