SAYS STATE GOVERNMENT TO SOON LAUNCH A MASSIVE EMPLOYMENT DRIVE IN KEY DEPARTMENTS OF STATE LIKE HEALTH, EDUCATION AND OTHERS

REITERATES COMMITMENT TO PROVIDE AMPLE OF OPPORTUNITIES TO THE YOUTH

DESCRIBES SUKHBIR BADAL AS NOVICE, CAPTAIN AMARINDER AS BETRAYER AND MODI AS ‘MASTER OF PHRASEOLOGY’

Patiala, December 3-

Continuing mission rozgar, the Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann on Tuesday announced that though the state has so far provided jobs to nearly 50,000 youth in the state but it will soon launch a massive employment drive in key departments like Health, Education and others to further provide government jobs to the youth.

Addressing the gathering while handing over appointment letters to the youth here today, the Chief Minister said that the state government is committed to provide ample of opportunities to the youth to excel in life and so far around 50,000 government jobs have been provided to them. He said that further new avenues will be opened for youth to ensure that they become an active partner in socio-economic growth of the state. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that along with providing new jobs to youth feasibility is also being explored to adjust the youth who have become overage while agitating for getting jobs.

The Chief Minister called upon youth that there is no short cut for success and the sole key of triumph was hard work. He asked the youth to work hard and keep trying to achieve success in life so that they can achieve their desired goals in life. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that the state government will leave no stone unturned to facilitate the youth in this noble cause.

The Chief Minister reiterated the commitment of the state government to ensure the well being of youth and opening new vistas of employment for them. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that it is a matter of immense pride and satisfaction for him that till date around 50,000 youth have been selected for these posts purely on the basis of merit. He said that now these youth have become integral part of the government adding that now should serve the people with missionary zeal.

The Chief Minister further called upon the youth to be grass rooters instead of parachuters to excel in lives. He said that the grass-rooters are those who arise from the ground to conquer the entire world adding that for these hard-workers only the sky is limit. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that, whereas the parachuters come directly from sky and are doomed to fall on ground later or sooner.

The Chief Minister said that the state government fills all the posts as soon as they are vacant in the department. He said that a foolproof mechanism has been adopted for the entire recruitment process due to which not even a single appointment out of these nearly 50,000 jobs have been challenged so far in any court. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that it is a proud moment for the government of Punjab that these youth have been given government jobs completely on the basis of merit.

The Chief Minister said that now these youth have become integral part of the government adding that now should serve the people with missionary zeal. Bhagwant Singh Mann hoped that the new recruits will use their pen for helping the needy and underprivileged sections of society. He said that the newly recruited youth should ensure maximum welfare of the public so that every section of society is benefited from it.

The Chief Minister urged the youth not to feel proud of their achievement but to stay humble and work hard for more success. Bhagwant Singh Mann exhorted the newly recruited youth to stay grounded even after getting these posts and believe in hard work as it is the sole key to success. He said that the youth must utilize this platform to further become successful but besides being a fine human being.

The Chief Minister reiterated the firm commitment of the state government to emerge Punjab as hub of the medical education. He said that the work is going on in full swing for constructing upcoming medical colleges at SAS Nagar (Mohali), Kapurthala, Sangrur, Hoshiarpur and Malerkotla. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that these medical colleges and hospitals are aimed at making the state a hub of medical education in the country thereby immensely benefitting the people of Punjab.

The Chief Minister also said that the state government is opening hi-tech centres for imparting training to the students for competitive exams. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that these centres will provide quality training to youth for clearing the UPSC exams and sit on coveted positions in state and country. He said that the target of the state government is to ensure that youth sit in high offices and serve the country.

The Chief Minister quipped that Sukhbir Singh Badal is a convent educated political leader of Punjab who is not aware of the basic topography of the state but wants to attain political power in Punjab. Similarly, he said that Captain Amarinder Singh and his family has a dubious track record of deceiving Punjab by standing by every force inimical to state whether they were Mughals, Britishers or now BJP. Likewise, Bhagwant Singh Mann said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was a master of phraseology who can connect himself with anything or place as per his whims and fancies.
