Patiala, March 30- 40 women lodged in Patiala’s Nabha Open Jail on Tuesday tested positive for coronavirus,The health department said that random samples were collected from the female ward.
The inmates who tested positive would be shifted to a dedicated jail for those who are Covid-positive in the state. The health department said that they would start vaccination of inmates who have tested negative for the virus while positive inmates would be shifted out.
