Chandigarh, October 19
For the first time in many months, UT reported no new fatality due to coronavirus on Monday. But the pandemic infected 40 more persons, taking the caseload to 13, 686. There are as many as 861 active cases in the city.
So far, 208 persons have succumbed to the deadly infection.
Meanwhile, a total of 63 patients have been discharged including persons from home isolation who have completed 10 days and are asymptomatic, as per MoHFW guidelines.
