Mansa, November 17, 2020:- In compliance of the orders of Director General of Police, Punjab, Mansa Police transferred police personnel recruited before 2015, who had not served in the police stations for atleast 5 years and those recruited in and after 2016, who had not served in police stations for atleast 3 years. 300 police personnel have been posted in police stations for front line duties in the district, during the drive of ‘HR audit’ and “Back to Police Stations” campaign launched by DGP. Punjab across the state.
Sh. Surendra Lamba, IPS, Senior Superintendent of Police Mansa told that in this campaign launched by Director General of Police, Punjab, so far more than 350 Police Personals had been posted in Police Stations to strengthen the front line Police Units to ensure effective policing and immediate redressal of public grievances . Also this drive will be helpfull in increasing professionalism in young recruits, who had earlier not completed minimum required tenure in field units of Police. Few of these were working on important assignment/duties, these will be replaced by police officials who have done long tenures in same Police Stations or remained posted on same postings for long time.
