239 fresh Corona cases in Mohali,tally crosses 8,000-mark

Chandigarh, September 19

Mohai reported two deaths and 239 fresh COVID-19 cases on Saturday, taking the district’s death total to 157. The coronavirus tally stands at 8,228. In the last 24 hours, about 162 have recovered from the infection. There are as many as 2,613 active cases.

According to an official bulletin, a 44-year-old man from Phase-7 succumbed to the deadly disease.  A 53-year-old woman from Dappar died. She had diabetes and hypertension.
