Chandigarh, April 6, 2021:
Chandigarh recorded two more deaths and as many as 319 fresh cases of coronavirus on Tuesday as the surge in pandemic continued unabated.
The death toll has now risen to 386 while the caseload has increased to 28,798. There are as many as 3037 active cases of infection.
According to a media bulletin issued here, a 54-year-old COVID positive male R/o Daria, a case of Gastro-Intestinal Tract Perforation and Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome, expired at PGIMER.
The other case relates to a 78-year-old COVID positive female R/o Manimajra, a case of Hypertension and Chronic Kidney Disease, expired at Alchemist Hospital, Panchkula.
Meanwhile, a total of 342 patients have been discharged including persons from home isolation who have completed 10 days and are asymptomatic, as per MoHFW guidelines.

COVID Death:-
