189 new COVID cases in Ludhiana, 11 more deaths

Ludhiana 10 Sep 2020-On Thursday, 11 persons have lost their life due to Covid19 infection and 189 were tested Positive. The health department has collected the samples of 4748 suspected persons. The active cases in district has reached 1762. Civil Surgeon Dr Rajesh Kumar Bagga informed that a total of 131608 samples have been taken till date, out of which report of 129978 samples has been received, of 115841 samples is negative and report of 1630 samples is pending. He said that 12754 persons have tested positive for Covid19 and 10443 were recovered.He said that unfortunately 11 people have died due to infection and till now 546 have lost their life.  He said that whenever District Administration and Health Department Ludhiana finds out that about any positive or suspected COVID 19 person, their samples are immediately sent for testing. Civil Surgeon appealed to the residents to follow all directions of the Punjab government and if they would stay indoors, they would not only stay safe themselves, but would also contribute in keeping everyone around safe.
