Chandigarh, May 15
UT recorded eight deaths and 660 new cases of coronavirus on Saturday. The number of active cases is 7847.
With this, the death toll in Chandigarh has risen to 625 while the caseload has increased to 54,703.
According to a media bulletin, new cases have been reported from different parts of the city and the villages surrounding it.
Meanwhile, a total of 963 patients have been discharged including persons from home isolation who have completed 10 days and are asymptomatic, as per MoHFW guidelines.
