Chandigarh, September 21
UT logged three more deaths and 240 more cases of coronavirus on Monday, taking the death toll to 123. The caseload has risen to 10, 298.
According to a medical bulletin issued by the Administration, a 36-year-old male, r/o Palsora, a case of ARDS, Right-sided Hemo-pneumothorax, Acute Kidney injury and Latent Autoimmune Diabetes, tested COVID positive, has expired at PGIMER on Monday. A 68-year-old male, r/o Sector 24, a case of Hypertension and Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus, tested COVID positive expired at PGMIER on Saturday. The third case related to a 70-year-old male, r/o Sector 15, tested COVID positive, who expired at Fortis Hospital, Mohali on Monday.
The fresh cases of coronavirus have been reported from different parts of the city and the villages surrounding it.
Meanwhile, a total of 273 patients have been discharged including persons from home isolation who have completed 10 days and are asymptomatic, as per MoHFW guidelines.
