UT reported two more deaths and 72 fresh cases of coronavirus during the past 24 hours. With this, the death toll as climbed to 214 while the caseload of infection risen to 13,920. The figure includes 697 active cases.
According to a medical bulletin released by the Administration, a 76-year-old female r/o sector 41, a case Carcinoma with Metastasis, who tested COVID positive, expired at PGIMER on Friday. A 52-year-old female r/o Dhanas, a case of SARI, Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus and Hypertension, who tested COVID positive, expired at GMCH 32 on Thursday.
New cases of coronavirus have been reported from different parts of the city and the villages surrounding it.
Meanwhile, a total of 85 patients have been discharged including persons from home isolation who have completed 10 days and are asymptomatic, as per MoHFW guidelines.
