UT reported two more deaths and 62 new cases of coronavirus on Tuesday. With this, the death toll has risen to 304 and the case load to 18,776. There are as many as 635 active cases f the pandemic.
According to a medical bulletin issued here on Tuesday, two elderly patients succumbed to corona during the past 24 hours. A 61-year-old Covid positive male r/o Sector 24, a case of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus and Hypertension, expired at PGIMER. The second case related to a 78-year-old Covid positive male r/o Sector 30, a case of Bipolar Affective Disorder who expired at PGIMER.
Meanwhile, a total of139 patients have been discharged including persons from home isolation who have completed 10 days and are asymptomatic, as per MoHFW guidelines.
