UT reported three more deaths and 133 fresh cases of coronavirus on Monday. With this, the death toll has risen to 177 while the number of cases to 12, 578. The figure includes 1604 active cases.
According to a medical bulletin released here, a 56-year-old male R/o Sector 19, a case of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus, Coronary Artery Disease and Stroke, who tested COVID positive, expired at GMCH 32 on Monday. A 34-year-old male R/o Sector 47, a case of Acute Febrile illness and Multiple Organ Dysfunction Syndrome, who tested COVID positive, expired at PGIMER on Sunday. A 54-year-old male R/o Sector 25, a case of liver abscess with septicemia and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, who tested COVID positive, expired at PGIMER on Sunday.
Fresh cases of coronavirus were reported from different parts of the city and the villages surrounding it.
Meanwhile, a total of 199 patients have been discharged including persons from home isolation who have completed 10 days and are asymptomatic, as per MoHFW guidelines.
