5 accused alongwith deadly arms have been arrested

Shri Surendra Lamba, IPS, SSP Mansa told to the press that in the intervening night of 30-31 Jan., 2021, a robbery took place at the Petrol pump situated in village Talabwala and the accused, after badly beating the employees of the Petrol Pump, locked them in a room and ran away after collecting all the money. An untraced case was registered in this regard in Police Station Boha. By taking strenuous efforts, the Mansa Police has cracked the case and nominated 8 accused out of which 5 have been arrested namely Kuldeep Singh son of Gurlal Singh, Veer Singh @ Gora son of Gurjant Singh, Satnam Singh s/o Sewak Singh all rs/o Gamiwala, Sandeep Singh @ Gharat s/o Sukhdev Singh r/o Boha and Gurmeet Singh @ Chetu s/o Baldev Singh r/o Ratia now resident of Bahmanwala (Haryana). During initial interrogation From the possession of accused, 3 Kirpans, 1 iron Daah, 1 iron Khapra, 2 Motor Cycles and one mobile phone have been recovered.
SSP Mansa further told that on 31st Jan, 2021, complainant Darshan Singh s/o Narain Das resident of Jandwala Sotar now at Fetehabad (Haryana) suffered a statement in Police Station Boha that his Petrol Pump of HP company situated in Village Talabwala in which total 4 employees were working in the shift, 2 each in day and night. In the morning of 31st Jan, 2021 at about 6 am he went to his petrol pump where he found that his office is opened and both the employees were locked in a room. After opening the room, the employees told him that in the night some un-identified persons with deadly weapons forcibly entered in the Petrol pump and after beating them and locking them in a room, they collected an amount of Rs.46,500 from the cash box, 2 mobile phones alongwith ATM, Aadhar Cards and PAN cards and ran away. On the statement of complainant, a case was registered against un-indentified persons u/s 395 IPC and 25 Arms Act PS Boha.
After conducting technical investigation, the Police of PS Boha traced this un-traced case and identified / nominated all the 8 accused out of which 5 above mentioned accused have been arrested. Raids are being conducted to arrest the remaining 3 accused who will be arrested shortly.
All these accused have criminal background and many criminal cases have already been registered against them in different Police Stations in Punjab and Haryana states. 3 days police remand has been got by producing these accused before the Hon’ble Court and during the remand period, deeply investigation will be carried out to find out if these criminal persons are involved in some other crimes.
