Amritsar, 28 Oct.2020, Punjab Congress President Shri Sunil Jakhar today strongly opposed the attitude being adopted by the Central Government towards Punjab and said that Punjabi people, who have become the foundation of the country and feed the people of the country . Instead of praising the BJP, the Narendra Modi-led central government is working on a policy to teach Punjab a lesson. Addressing a huge conference of farmers today in Village Chamari in Ajnala constituency and Village Gurwali in Attari constituency, Mr. Jakhar said that the laws imposed by the Center were not only fatal for the farmers of Punjab, but for the agriculture of the country Were also fatal. He said that it was a threat to the survival of agrarian states like Punjab. He said that a conspiracy has been hatched to deprive farmers of their land and hand it over to big families, which can never be tolerated.            Mr. Jakhar praised Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh, saying that even though the state government has taken steps to protect the interests of the farmers, the central government is imposing economic sanctions on Punjab in the same way as against the opponents of the United States Were. Cuba and Iran. And so on. He said that there is a move to bring Punjab to its knees by taking Rs 9,500 crore from ST and Rs 1,100 crore from Rural Development Fund. He said that since the country’s freedom struggle, Punjab soldiers struggling with the enemy army were falling prey to enemies on the Chinese border and their parents were falling prey to Delhi’s deadly policies. He said that the Modi government was trying to resolve the issue through dialogue rather than giving a befitting reply to the enemy countries, but was not willing to talk to its farmers and their weapons were being diverted. These promises have become a thing of the past, but the Modi government should understand that governments run on faith and not on words.    Harkap Singh told the press at Ajnala’s residence, Mr. Jakhar expressed apprehension that Centre thought that this struggle would go on for a long time and that Punjabis should prepare for it. “For us, the seat is not the first priority, the people of the state are the priority and we are ready to pay any price for our people.” He said that the issue was for the entire country but the Modi government was trying to mislead people by focusing only on Punjab. He said that BJP leaders sometimes called the peasants as rebels, sometimes as middlemen and sometimes as ‘urban nexus’, which was not favorable to the beneficiaries of the country. He said that BJP leaders should apologize for such words. He said that the easiest and best solution to this problem is for the Prime Minister to interact with the farmers and assure them in writing that the minimum government price of crops will continue, not in pairs.   Speaking on the Shiromani Akali Dal, Mr. Jakhar said that its current leaders stabbed the cult first and now in the peasant’s back. He said that a day before the results of the 2017 elections, ministers had gone to the Center to accept the Rs 31,000 crore food scam and signed it to get the money back in installments. Karta supported the recommendations of the Santa Kumar Committee and proved to be the first nail in the farmers’ coffin. He said that the Akali Dal cabinet minister who was talking about resignation on the issue of farmers was also there to mislead the farmers, the fact was that Modi forced him to resign and he stood with the farmers. Had to be. is          On this occasion MLA Mr. Harpatap Singh Ajnala said that the Modi government is discriminating against the people of Punjab and coming up with a new corporate culture that will bring forward Ambani and Andani and destroy the farmers. He said that Modi government has cheated the farmers of the entire country by implementing black law against the farmers. He said that we are Punjabi warriors and we will die by bringing back these black laws. He said that Captain Sarkar had proved the pro-farmer stance by repealing these laws. He said that Captain Sarkar was protecting water, farmers and traders. He said that the BJP government at the Center has always discriminated against Punjab. He said that the BJP government was working on the agenda of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, which was to spread hatred in the country. Addressing farmers
