Finance Minister Cheema visited eye medical checkup camp at village Gujran as chief guest

Punjab Finance, Planning, Excise and Taxation Minister Advocate Harpal Singh Cheema on Wednesday said that social service organizations should rise above party politics and work for the welfare of the people. He said that the Punjab government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann would provide every possible assistance to such NGOs.
Cabinet Minister Cheema was here today to attend the eye medical check-up camp organized at village Gujran as the chief guest. He said that Gujran village club has been doing commendable job in the field of social welfare. He said that all legitimate demands raised by the club would be considered on priority basis.
Interacting with media on this occasion, Cabinet Minister Cheema said that the government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has provided an opportunity to the opposition parties to raise the issues of the people of the state by convening the session of the Punjab Vidhan Sabha. He said that it is a pity that the opposition parties were shying away from their responsibility.
He said that it is the foremost duty of all the representatives elected by the people to resolve their issues by becoming their voice in the august house. He said that on the contrary, the leaders of the opposition parties were playing theatric outside the Vidhan Sabha. He said that people of the state were well aware of their political tactics and they would soon give befitting reply to these parties.
On this occasion SDM Dirba Rajesh Sharma, DSP Prithvi Singh Chahal, office bearers and members of the club were also present.
