-Now Access Revenue Services Online – No Need to Visit the Patwari
-Intkal, Rapat Entry, Fard Badar Now Online via Easy Jamabandi Portal
Patiala, August 7:
Deputy Commissioner Dr. Preeti Yadav informed that six essential services of the Revenue Department are now available online through the ‘Easy Jamabandi’ portal, offering citizens the convenience of accessing services from home. These include obtaining Jamabandi via WhatsApp, applying for Intkal (mutation), Rapat Entry, Fard Badar (record correction), and more.
She said these digital initiatives will significantly reduce the need for physical visits to Patwaris or government offices, saving time and promoting transparency. The Deputy Commissioner reviewed the implementation of the services in a meeting with District Revenue Officer Navdeep Singh and DSM Sukhmandar Singh, stressing the importance of creating awareness so that more people can benefit.
Explaining the process, she said that anyone can now visit easyjamabandi.punjab.gov.in and get a digitally signed Jamabandi copy with a QR code—valid for official use and verifiable across platforms.
For Intkal, she said that mutation after land registration will now be processed automatically within 30 days. For older or inheritance-based mutations, citizens can apply online and track the status through the portal and WhatsApp.
She further explained that Rapat Entries, which relate to court orders or loan matters, can now be submitted digitally without visiting the Patwari. Court-related entries will be processed within one day, and loan-related within seven days.
Addressing Fard Badar, Dr. Preeti Yadav noted that any record corrections, such as changes in name or land area, can be requested online and completed within 15 days.
To ensure land safety, the Punjab Government has introduced a ‘Subscribe to Your Land Record’ feature. By subscribing to their Khewat number for ₹500/year, landowners will receive real-time alerts via WhatsApp or email if any change is made. They can raise objections instantly, which will reach the concerned Revenue Officer. She urged all citizens to use these services online or call 1076 for assistance.
