Punjab Vidhan Sabha Speaker S. Kultar Singh Sandhawan honored seven students of Punjab who returned from visiting Japan with unique memories and unique experiences by giving them cash prizes.
Mr. Sandhwan said that it is a matter of great pride and satisfaction that these talented students of Punjab have visited Japan under the cultural scheme of Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann led Punjab Government. He said that all these students were from government schools and they have secured positions in the merit list. He said that these students have got an opportunity to understand the culture, science and logic of Japan during the one-week visit.
S. Sandhwan specially felicitated Harmandeep Kaur (Mansa), Jasmeet Kaur (Sangrur), Sanjana Kumari (Patiala), Sapna and Deepika (Bathinda), Gurwinder Kaur (Firozpur) and Khwaish (Jalandhar) at the Punjab Vidhan Sabha Secretariat today.
The speaker talked to these students in detail about their visit to Japan. He also showed the Vidhan Sabha House to the students and also gave information about the legislative work in the Vidhan Sabha.
Congratulating these students on this occasion, the speaker expressed the hope that these students will become role models for other students and inspire them to excel in various fields. The names of his parents and teachers have also been highlighted.
Apart from MLA Kunwar Vijay Pratap Singh, MLA Jaswinder Singh, MLA Sandeep Jakhar and MLA Barinder Goyal, parents and teachers of the students were also present on this occasion.
