Exhorts newly-appointed employees to work with missionary zeal
Chandigarh, July 30:
Punjab Rural Development and Panchayats Minister S. Laljit Singh Bhullar today handed over appointment letters to 10 newly recruited steno-typists in the department.
During interaction with the newly inducted employees at his office in the Punjab Civil Secretariat, the Cabinet Minister congratulated and urged them to work diligently to ensure needy individuals benefit from government welfare schemes.
S. Laljit Singh Bhullar expressed confidence that the newly appointed staff would contribute to the seamless implementation of departmental initiatives and raise awareness about them.
The Minister said that Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann led government is committed to providing ample employment opportunities to the state’s youth, noting that the Mann government has already provided government jobs to over 42,000 youngsters.
Director Mr. Amit Kumar, Chief Engineer Mr. Karandeep Singh Chahal and other departmental officials were present at the event.
Notably, these employees have been recruited on the merit basis through the Punjab Subordinate Services Selection Board, following a transparent recruitment process.
