Rana K.P. Singh, Speaker, Punjab Vidhan Sabha took the second dose of COVID-19 vaccine shots here at PGIMER on Monday.
Rana K.P. Singh was administered first dose of Covishield vaccine on 13th March and on Monday he was given second dose at the vaccination centre at Nehru Hospital Extension (NHE) at PGIMER.He was accompanied by Prof Baljinder Singh, Deptt of Nuclear Medicine, PGIMER
Looking cheerful,Singh urged others to have faith in medical science and join the drive as he stated, “Today I got second dose of Corona vaccine from PGI, Chandigarh I urge those who are eligible to be vaccinated to get this vaccine as soon as possible.”
“We are in the midst of a calamity. So vaccination and Covid appropriate behavior of wearing a mask, hand hygiene and maintaining social distance can only help in containing the transmission,” added Shri Singh.
Sharing his experience of vaccination, Mr. Singhsaid, “The ambience at the Vaccination Centre is peaceful and positive with staff manning the Centre very well.”
