- Encourages students to contribute in progress of country and become successful in life
Chandigarh, September 3
The 90 students of Government Senior Secondary Schools, Kila Nau, Sher Singh Wala, Pakhi Kalan, Sandhwan and Chandbaja Kotakpura, District Faridkot witnessed the proceedings of the Assembly session in Tuesday and got firsthand information about the legislative work.
The school students who came to see the proceedings of the session also met the Speaker Punjab Vidhan Sabha S. Kultar Singh Sandhwan, who encouraged them to work hard in life to become a successful and to make valuable contribution for the progress of the state and the country.
S. Sandhwan said that by watching the proceedings of the House, where the students got information about the legislative working of the state, the performance of the political leaders can be seen in real sense. Encouraging the students, he said that the aim of the State Government is that the youth of Punjab should give up their desire to go abroad and stay here to get good employment and work for the welfare of the society.
On this occasion, School teachers also extended thanks to Speaker Punjab Vidhan Sabha for encouraging the students.
Deputy Speaker S. jai Krishn Singh Rouri and MLA Prof. Baljinder Kaur were also present on the occasion.
