Chandigarh, September 27:
The newly appointed Vice Chairman of the Punjab Khadi and Village Industries Board, Mr. Pawan Kumar Hans, assumed office today in the presence of Cabinet Minister Mr. Mohinder Bhagat in Chandigarh.
Cabinet Minister Mr. Mohinder Bhagat congratulated Vice Chairman Mr. Pawan Kumar Hans and expressed hope that under his leadership the board would scale new heights. Mr. Bhagat assured the Vice Chairman of full support for his every endeavor.
After assuming charge, Vice Chairman Mr. Hans expressed his gratitude to Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann and Cabinet Minister Mohinder Bhagat. He affirmed his commitment to fulfilling this responsibility with utmost honesty and dedication. Mr. Hans said that the Khadi Board is a significant organization focused on generating employment opportunities, particularly in rural areas. He assured that every possible effort would be made to create new job opportunities for the youth. Additionally, he emphasized prioritizing transparency and efficiency in the Board’s functioning.
On this occasion, senior Aam Aadmi Party leaders Ajay Kaul, Kala Pradhan, and Baba Raj Kumar, along with Sudarshan, Dharminder Kumar, Sunny Hans, Aryan, Ishu Gill, and officials from the Punjab Khadi and Village Industries Board, were present.
