Punjab Government is committed to prevent youth from migrating abroad

Punjab Vidhan Sabha Speaker Sardar Kultar Singh Sandhwan today stated that the Punjab government has provided more than 67,000 government jobs to the youth of Punjab purely on the basis of merit. He emphasized that this massive recruitment drive has successfully checked the flight of youth migrating abroad by offering them lucrative career opportunities within their home state.
Speaker Sandhwan asserted that the entire recruitment process in the state has undergone a radical transformation. “The days of bribery, nepotism, and political influence in securing government employment are completely gone,”. He added that the current administration is selecting only deserving candidates through a 100% fair, transparent, and recommendation-free mechanism.
Highlighting the government’s core vision, Speaker Sandhwan noted that the primary objective since assuming office has been to empower unemployed youth, allowing them to give wings to their dreams and secure a prosperous future.
The Speaker urged the student to prepare for competitive examinations with utmost dedication, hard work, and perseverance. He maintained that no dream is impossible to achieve when backed by sincere effort.
Extending his congratulations to the newly recruited candidates, Speaker Sandhwan exhorted them to perform their official duties with absolute honesty and integrity. He reiterated that the Punjab Government remains firmly committed to select those candidates who burn their midnight oil to achieve Government jobs.
