Five Weapons, 19 Cartridges and a Shell Recovered
So far, a Total of Seven Weapons including 34 Cartridges Recovered From the Gang

Mr. Vikramjit Duggal IPS, Senior Superintendent of Police, Patiala said here today that the two more close associates of gangster Gagandeep Singh @ Gaggi Lahoria have been arrested by District Police in further investigation of FIR 232 dated October 8, u/s 392,34 of IPC and 25 of Arms act that was registered on October 6 for snatching a Swift car at Pistol Point from Nabha-Chhitawala Road.
The two accomplices Bikker Singh son of Balvir Singh resident of Katiawali, Police Station Kabranwala, District Sri Muktsar and Jaswinder Singh alias Kalu Baba son of Ram Singh resident of H. No. 11, Street No. 01, Ward No. 10, Ajit Nagar Malout District Sri Muktsar Sahib. So far five weapons along with 19 cartridges have been recovered from them. Gagandeep Singh @ Gaggi Lahoria was in touch with dreaded jailed gangster Dilpreet @ Baba.
SSP Patiala further informed that under the supervision of Mr. Harmeet Singh Hundal, SP (I) and Mr. Krishan Kumar Panthe DSP (I) Patiala, Inspector Shamindar Singh incharge of CIA Patiala police has been assigned to conduct a special operation to arrest all the members of the gang and recover arms and ammunition.
He further said that Bikker Singh, a close associate of Gaggi Lahoria, was arrested on October 14 from Rohti Bridge, Nabha with two desi weapons of .315 bore and .12 bore along with Seven cartridges. On the same day a desi weapon of .315 bore was also recovered from Gaggi Lahoria alongwith two live cartridges and one used cartridge during police investigation behind a dhaba situated on Sangrur road. The pistol was used by Gagandeep Singh @ Gaggi Lahoria in the Baddi (Himachal Pradesh) incident and was fired upon at the behest of Dilpreet Singh @ Baba.
Another active member of this gang (Gagandeep Singh Gaggi Lahorian’s partner) Jaswinder Singh @ Kalu Baba was arrested near Bus Stand Mardanhedi from Patiala-Balbera Road, from whom a pistol with .32 bore alongwith 6 cartridges and a desi pistol with .32 bores including three cartridges were recovered. An FIR No. 208 dated 15th October, under Arms Act has been registered at Sadar Police station Patiala.
So far a total of Seven Weapons alongwith 34 cartridges and one shell of a cartridge have been recovered from the gang.
SSP Patiala said that the arrested Gagandeep Singh @ Gaggi Lahoria and Kulwant Singh and Bikker Singh were produced in the court from where they were sent to Police remand till October 19 and the accused Dilpreet Singh @ Baba that was brought on production warrant from Nabha Jail, would remain in police custody till October 17. Apart from that accused Jaswinder Singh alias Kalu Baba will be produced in the court and police remand will be obtained for further investigation. It is worthwhile to mention here that Gaggu Lahoria and Kulawant Jaggu were arrested on October 11 along with two weapons and a snatched car.
