Says, this initiative will help in multifaceted development of students
Cabinet Minister Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal attended parent-teacher meeting at School of Eminence 3B-1 SAS Nagar

It is a positive step taken by the Punjab Government to provide quality education to the students studying in the government schools of the state, and this initiative will help the students in their multi-faceted development. This was expressed by Cabinet Minister Mr. Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal who took the opportunity to participate in the 3rd mega parent-teacher meeting held at School of Eminence 3B-1 SAS Nagar (Mohali) today.
The Cabinet Minister said that the purpose of this meeting is to discuss with the parents of students studying in government schools about the efforts being made by the government to provide quality education to the students and to create better coordination between parents, students and teachers as well as the local community, local government representatives, members of panchayats etc. to ensure their contribution in multifaceted development of schools.
S. Dhaliwal said that the State Government led by Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann is continuously making efforts to improve the education system of Punjab. He said that Mega PTM Meet (Teacher-Parent Meet) is a part of this series, as on this occasion parents are being given a special opportunity to know the education system and give suggestions. Meanwhile, parents have got an opportunity to know about the current performance of their children and get information about the feedback of the teachers.
S. Dhaliwal said that the efforts of the Punjab Government have received tremendous response from the students and parents. He said that there has been 100 percent participation of parents of pre-primary to twelfth class students studying in government schools in parent teacher meeting.
This parent-teacher meeting is an opportunity for teachers to share academic performance of students with their parents, discuss their physical, mental, emotional and social development, create and coordinate a better environment at home and school for upcoming home and annual examinations. Apart from this, he also inspected the exhibitions, paintings etc. prepared by the students and encouraged the students.
On this occasion, District Education Officer Dr. Ginny Duggal, School Principal Mr. Salinder Singh and all the staff, a large number of students and their parents were present.
