Chandigarh, December 10
One more elderly woman succumbed to coronavirus on Thursday in UT, taking the death toll to 298. As many as 88 fresh cases of the pandemic were reported during the past 24 hours. With this, the caseload in the city has increased to 18, 410. There are 881 active cases of the deadly disease.
According to a medical bulletin issued here, a 62 year old Covid positive female r/o Sector 22, a case of diabetes, hypertension and acute kidney injury, expired at PGI.
New cases of coronavirus have been reported from different parts of the city and the villages surrounding it.
Meanwhile, a total of 103 patients have been discharged including persons from home isolation who have completed 10 days and are asymptomatic, as per MoHFW guidelines.
