Chandigarh, November 19
The city reported one more death and 155 fresh cases of coronavirus during the past 24 hours. This has taken the death toll to 254 and caseload to 16,322. There are as many as 1105 active cases of the infection.
According to a bulletin issued by the administration, a 75-year-old male R/o Sector 46 was brought dead at GMCH 32 and tested COVID positive. Details of the case are awaited.
New cases of infection have been reported from different parts of the city and the villages surrounding it.
Meanwhile, a total of 130 patients have been discharged including persons from home isolation who have completed 10 days and are asymptomatic, as per MoHFW guidelines.
