Chandigarh, December 24
UT reported one more death and 43 fresh cases of coronavirus during the pst 24 hours. There are as many as 361 active cases of the infection.
With this, the death toll has increased to 314 and the caseload to 19,309.
According to a medical bulletin issued here by the Administration on Thursday, a 45-year-old Covid positive male r/o Sector 49, a case of Bilateral Lower Respiratory Tract Infection with Hypertension, expired at Indus Hospital, Derabassi.
New cases of coronavirus have been reported from different parts of the city and the villages surrounding it.
Meanwhile, a total of 50 patients have been discharged including persons from home isolation who have completed 10 days and are asymptomatic, as per MoHFW guidelines.
