Chandigarh, November 4
UT logged one more death and 94 fresh cases of coronavirus on Wednesday. With this, the death toll has risen 229 while the caseload has risen to 14,702. There are as many as 671 active cases.
According to a medical bulletin issued here by the Administration, a 34-year-old male r/o Maniamajra, who tested COIVD positive, expired at GMCH-32 due to Cardiac Pulmonary Arrest.
The new cases have been reported from different parts of the city and the villages surrounding it.
Meanwhile, a total of 51 patients have been discharged including persons from home isolation who have completed 10 days and are asymptomatic, as per MoHFW guidelines.
