Chandigarh, January 14
UT recorded one more death and 23 new cases of coronavirus on Thursday. There are as many as 273 active cases of the deadly infection.
The death toll in Chandigarh now stands at 330 while the caseload has increased to 20,438.
According to media bulletin issued here by the Administration, a 67-year-old COVID positive male R/o Sector 35, a case of SARI and Hypertension has expired at GMCH-32.
The new cases of coronavirus have been reported from different parts of the city and the villages surrounding it.
Meanwhile, a total of 41 patients have been discharged including persons from home isolation who have completed 10 days and are asymptomatic, as per MoHFW guidelines.
