Chandigarh, February 10
Covid claimed the life of one more elderly patient in Chandigarh on Wednesday, raising the death toll to 343.
The city also reported 13 fresh cases of the infection during the past 24 hours. The caseload now stands at 21,171.
There are as many as 158 active cases of coronavirus.
According to a media bulletin issued here, a 72-year-old COVID positive female r/o Sector-44, a case of Hypertension and Meningoencephalitis, expired at GMCH-32. New cases of coronavirus have been reported from different parts of the city and the villages surrounding it.
Meanwhile, a total of 26 patients have been discharged including persons from home isolation who have completed 10 days and are asymptomatic, as per MoHFW guidelines.
