Chandigarh, October 12
Coronavirus claimed one more victim while 98 new cases of the pandemic were reported in the UT during the past 24 hours. There are 1170 active cases of infection in the city.
With this, the death toll has risen to 192 and total caseload to 13,260.
According to a medical bulletin issued here, a 70-year-old male R/o Sector 50, a case of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus and Hypertension, who tested COVID positive, expired at GMCH 32 on Sunday.
New cases of coronavirus have been reported from different parts of the city and the villages surrounding it.
Meanwhile, a total of 111 patients have been discharged including persons from home isolation who have completed 10 days and are asymptomatic, as per MoHFW guidelines.
