New Delhi, September 12, 2020 : Former Punjab DGP Sumedh Saini’s troubles mounted in getting bail from Supreme Court as the Punjab Government has filed a Caveat in the top court and it has urged to heard in bail matter of Saini.
Earlier the Registry at the top court had refused to entertain a petition which was short of some documents. Now the Punjab Government wants to be heard in bail application case and has urged court that before considering his application, the government arguments must be heard. Saini is likely to file bail application on Monday in the Supreme Court. Earlier his two petitions were dismissed by the Punjab and Haryana High Court.(Agency)
