Liver transplants to be a reality in Punjab shortly : Chetan Singh Jauramajra

In order to improve the functioning of Punjab’s Health institutions, the minister for Health and Family welfare Chetan Singh Jauramajra started a surprise inspection drive to assess the health services being provided in the health institutions across the state.
In first such visit he inspected the yet to operationalize for liver surgeries, Punjab Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences at Mohali , where he directed to expedite the works on priority basis and he assured early start for this 50 bedded state of the art super-specialty hospital which will be a centre of excellence for the diagnosis and management of liver and biliary diseases and will provide advanced training and research in the field of hepato-biliary sciences.
Jauramajra expressed hope that this project will be successful in providing standard health services to the people at affordable rates and will be a a major health-infrastructure boost for Punjab.
On this occasion, he said that this government led by AAP Supremo Arvind Kejriwal and Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is on its toes for the welfare of the people and no shortcoming of any kind will be allowed in delivery of services to the people. “Such visits will continue in the future and he can visit any health institution unexpectedly so that the dreams of the people with regard to the Aam Aadmi Party government can be fulfilled shortly.
