27 FIR’S WERE REGISTERED UNDER EXCISE ACT & 19 ACCUSED PERSONS WERE ARRESTED & 1770 LITER OF LAHAN/BREWREY, 2 WORKING APPARATUS, 509 BOTTLES OF LIQUOR ALONG WITH CAR & 2 MOTORCYCLES WERE RECOVERED

Mansa, 03-08-2020: Mansa Police has started a big campaign against the drugs and resultantly 19 persons were arrested from different-different places under Excise Act and 27 FIR’s were registered against them. From the arrested accused persons 1170 liter of Brewery/Lahan, 2 working apparatus & 509 Bottles of Liquor along with Car & 2 Motorcycles were recovered. Investigation was brought into action after registration of FIR under Excise Act, against the accused persons in different-different Police Stations.

S.S.P. Mansa Sh. Surendra Lamba, I.P.S., during the briefing had disclosed that Police Party of Police Station Bhikhi was present at Village Bir-Khurad for the purpose of patrolling, then the information was received that Amritpal Singh Alias Pali Son of Kashmir Singh resident of Samao and Gora Singh resident of Dirba are bringing liquor make Haryana in Corolla Car and Ram Singh alias Rammi son of Roos Singh resident of Samao is riding in front of the car, as guide, on Hero Splendor motorcycle No.PB-13W-1269. On which FIR was got registered against Amritpal Singh, Gora Singh and Ram Singh under Excise Act at Police Station Bhikhi. Police party had installed the check-post at the relevant place had apprehended the Car Corolla No. DL-6CJ-4312 and 360 bottles of Country Made Liquor Mark Shehnai (Haryana) was recovered and accused Ram Singh was arrested along with motorcycle and both the remaining accused persons namely Amritpal Singh and Gora Singh has succeeded to escape from the spot, who will be arrested shortly.  Police party of Police Station Sadar Mansa on the basis of secret information had recovered 500 Liter of Brewrey/Lahan from Jarnail Singh Jailly son of Gurdas Singh resident of Nangal Kalan, 200  Liter of Brewrey/Lahan from accused Jagdev Singh s/o Mukhtiar Singh resident of Khilan and 150 Liter of Brewrey/Lahan from accused Babbi Singh son of Jagga Singh resident of Tamkot but their arrest is yet pending. Accused Manak Singh s/o Jugraj Singh resident of Kotdharmu was apprehended and 190 Liter of Lahan was recovered. 9 bottles of illegal liquor was recovered from accused Gurdeep Singh s/o Nazam Singh resident of village Dhingarh. Accused Sukhdeep Singh s/o Jagroop Singh resident of Chakerian was apprehended and 9 Bottles of illegal liquor was recovered. Accused Bahadur Singh s/o Jugraj Singh resident of Malakpur-Khiala was apprehended and 7 Bottles of Illegal Liquor was recovered and FIR’s were registered against all the accused persons at Police Station Sadar Mansa under Excise Act. Taking the action, Police Party of Police Station City-2, Mansa had apprehended accused Bagga Singh s/o Ruldu Singh resident of Mansa and 100 Liter of Brewery/Lahan was recovered. Police Party on the basis of secret information had got registered FIR against accused Shiva son of Raj Kumar and Palo Devi wife of Raj Kumar residents of Mansa and 48 bottles of country make liquor Mark Shehnai (Haryana) was recovered but arrest of the accused persons is yet pending.

Taking the action, Police Party of Police Station City Budhladha 11 bottles of country make liquor Mark Shehnai (Haryana) was recovered from Bittu Son of Parkash resident of Budhladha. After apprehending Wazir Singh son of Saun Singh resident of Kulana 9 bottles of illegal liquor was recovered from him. On the basis of secret information, Police parties of Police Station Boha has recovered 50 Liter of Lahan/Brewery from Jaspal Singh alias Manak son of Kundan Singh resident of Dalelwala but his arrest is yet pending. After apprehending accused Jagtar Singh alias Jagga son of Cheena Singh resident of Saidewala 9 bottles of illegal liquor was recovered. Police Parties of Police Station Bareta, taking the action, had apprehended Monu son of Jagdish Rai resident of Budhladha along with Motorcycle Splendor No. PB-31D-8349 and 24 Bottles of English Liquor Make Royal Challenge (Haryana) was recovered. Police Party on the basis of secret information had got registered a FIR against Prem Singh s/o Gurbakash Singh resident of Juglan and during the raid 1 working apparatus, 30 Liter of Lahan/Brewery and 1 Bottle of illegal liquor was recovered but arrest of the accused is still pending. Fir was got registered against Accused Birbal Singh s/o Gurdiyal Singh resident of Kishangarh Sedha Singh Wala and 50 Liter of Lahan/Brewery was recovered but arrest of the accused is yet pending. Accused Tarsem Singh s/o Mukhtiar Singh resident of Kishangarh Sedha Singh Wala was apprehended and 40 Liter of Lahan was recovered. Accused Mangi Singh s/o Gurdiyal Singh resident of Kishangarh Sedha Singh Wala was apprehended and 9 Bottles of illegal liquor was recovered and FIR’s were registered against all the accused persons under Excise Act at Police Station Bareta. Police party of Police Station Sadar Budhladha had apprehended accused Mandeep Singh son of Hakam Singh resident of Husanpur and 30 Liter of Lahan/Brewery was recovered and FIR was registered against the accused under Excise Act.

Police Party of Police Station Sardulgarh got registered a FIR against Nishan Singh s/o Bhagwan Singh resident of Jhanda-Kalan under Excise Act on the basis of secret information and 250 liter of Lahan/Brewery was recovered but arrest of the accused is yet pending. Taking the action by the police party of Police Station Jhunir, on the basis of secret information FIR was registered against Bittu Singh s/o Maingal Singh resident of Jhunir and after apprehending the accused during the raid, 1 working apparatus and 70 Liter Lahan/Brewery and 1 Bottle of illegal liquor was recovered. Accused Kuldeep Singh s/o Geja Singh resident of Lalleanwali and Roop Singh s/o Babu Singh resident of Chachohar were apprehended and 6/6 bottles of illegal liquor were recovered from them and thereafter FIR was registered against them under Excise Act at Police Station Jhunir. Police Parties of Police Station Jaurkian had apprehended Amrik Singh s/o Labh Singh resident of Bhamme-Kalan and 70 Liter of Lahan/Brewery was recovered and from accused Hakam Singh s/o Bawa Singh 40 Liter of Lahan was recovered but his arrest is yet pending, 20 Liter of Lahan/Brewery was recovered from accused Gurdeep Singh s/o Bawa Singh resident of Bhamme-Kalan and FIR was registered against them at Police Station Jaurkian under Excise Act.

S.S.P. Mansa Sh. Surendra Lamba, I.P.S., had further stated that the campaign against the drugs and bad elements will be kept on working, likewise, in the future too.
